01Who we are
DrillTerra Technologies Pty Ltd (“DrillTerra”, “we”, “us”) is an Australian company headquartered in the Hunter Valley, NSW. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through drillterra.com, our client portal and related communications.
02Information we collect
We collect the information you give us – your name, work email, company, role, region and message when you contact us; your email address when you subscribe to updates; and, if you are given access to the client portal, your email address and sign-in records. Our hosting provider keeps basic technical information (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) in server logs to keep the site secure and working. We may use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
03How we use information
We use the information to respond to enquiries, deliver requested materials, give authorised clients access to the portal, send updates you have opted into, and to improve the performance and security of our website.
04Cookies
The public website does not set cookies. If you sign in to the client portal, our sign-in provider sets a session cookie so you stay signed in; it expires when your session ends.
05Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers acting on our behalf – Cloudflare (website hosting, security, email routing and portal sign-in) and Resend (email delivery for website forms) – where required by law, or with your consent.
06Overseas processing
Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate data centres. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
07Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it. We protect it with access controls, encryption in transit and reputable service providers.
08Your choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. You can unsubscribe from updates at any time using the link in each email, or by emailing us.
09Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
