Brand guidelines.
Everything needed to present DrillTerra Technologies consistently – the logo and icon, colour, type, and how we name our products and protection.
01 · The mark
A bit, seen from the face.
The icon is a tricone bit reduced to two facets meeting at a single point – the place where DrillTerra’s work happens. The crease down the centre reads as the channel that gives cuttings their exit.
The wordmark is set in Inter Tight: “DrillTerra” in SemiBold, “Technologies” in Regular. The icon’s tip sits on the descender line, so the lockup always aligns to the baseline of the type it sits beside.
Clear space
Keep a margin equal to the icon’s width on every side. Nothing – type, edges, imagery – enters it.
Minimum size
Full logo: 140 px wide on screen, 35 mm in print. Icon alone: 16 px. Below that, use the icon only.
Black or white only
The logo is always solid black or solid white. Never copper, gradients, outlines, shadows or a recoloured icon.
- Don’t stretch, skew, rotate or re-space the logo.
- Don’t rebuild the wordmark in another typeface.
- Don’t use the wordmark without the icon, or drop “Technologies” outside the compact lockup.
- Don’t place the logo on busy imagery – use a solid field or a dark overlay.
02 · Colour
Dark ground, one accent.
Layouts are built from Ink, Terra Black and Bone. Bit Copper is the only accent: use it for the one thing on a page that matters most – a figure, a link, a focus state.
03 · Typography
Three faces, one voice.
All three are open-source (SIL Open Font License) and free to install on any machine.

Write product names exactly as shown, with ™ on first use in any document or page and in every headline.
